If you are trying to upload CAD files, and you receive the following error:
"An error has occurred, please try again. If the error persists, reach out to customer support."
There are a few causes that can be investigated
- The imported file(s) have too many parts
- If there is a large batch of CAD files, then we can split the import into smaller chunks.
- If this is an assembly file, then breaking the file into smaller sub assemblies will assist in its import
- There are geometry errors in the file(s)
- There are unresolved issues in the geometry. these parts when found should be removed from the import
- The import process took too long, and the server hit its timeout
- Trying again, or splitting up the file/import will resolve this
