SecturaFAB What's new December 2021
1. User Based Commissions
SecturaFAB 2021.14 added a commission structure that allows users to define different commission structures and then assign them to users. When a user is selected as the Sales Rep then that commission will be applied to the quote.
2. Commissions support for Quantity Matrix Price Breaks
SecturaFAB 2021.14 added support for commissions when applying quantity matrix price breaks. The commission applied to the quote will now also apply to the price breaks.
3. Material Markup to Quantity Matrix Price Breaks
SecturaFAB 2021.14 allows the users to add a different material margin or markup to the price break item. See image above.
4. Profit display for Quantity Matrix
SecturaFAB 2021.14 displays the net and profit margin or each line then applying Quantity Matrix Price Breaks. See image above
5. Time Cost and Material Cost in Quote Home Page
SecturaFAB 2021.14 allows the users to display the Time Cost and Material Cost on the Quote Home page.
To show these new fields, Time Cost and Weight Cost, in the grid view you have to clear the previous saved grid configuration and reload the web page.
To clear the save configuration select the Reset button from the menu dropdown list, and then check the Time Cost and Weight Cost items to add them to the grid view.
6. Weight Cost and Material Cost in Quote Detail Page
SecturaFAB 2021.14 shows the Weight Cost and Material Cost in the Quote Detail page above the Total Cost.
7. Internal Rep
SecturaFAB 2021.14 allows users to select an Internal Rep associated to a quote.
8. Single Part Weight
SecturaFAB 2021.14 allows users to select the way nested weight is calculated when using single part nesting. A new option, "Single Part Material Weight", in the Setup > Preferences allows users to select between Sheet Weight or Parts Per Sheet.
The Parts Per Sheet option will calculate the nested weight of a part based on the total weight for one sheet divided by the number of parts that can be nested on that sheet.

9. Saw Calculator Enhancements
SecturaFAB 2021.14 added a few enhancements to enable saw calculator to take Miter Angle Change, Blade Retraction and Repositioning into account when calculating saw time.
10. Speed Improvements
SecturaFAB 2021.14 has a lot of internal changes to improve speed and performance.
Web calls have been refactored to allow for asynchronous processing.The Grid queries have be refactored and optimized.The database queries have been analyzed and optimize for performance.Azure Application Insights has been added to the SecturaFAB deployment to track real time bottle necks.We have added four load balancing servers that allows the work load to be spread over multiple servers, and give us more reliability.
