After your team completes the onboarding process, the SecturaFAB team will create and store an initial backup of your tenant. However, you may need to perform additional backups independently as your business evolves—whether through changes in products, costs, or operational adjustments. Backing up your tenant is crucial to safeguarding your data and involves multiple steps. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure that all your information is securely saved.
Backup Operational Tenant
In "Personal Settings", select "Backup." This action will trigger a download of your operational tenant information. The backup file will include all settings and operational data accessible from the setup page.
Export Machine Files
Note: The current backup does not support Machine File export, so this step must be done manually. Navigate to “Equipment” in the Production settings.
Select “Machine Files” then, click “Export” to save a zipped folder containing all available machine files.
Export CRM Data
The CRM holds 3 tables: Contacts, Organizations, and Vendors. Each will have to be exported. Let’s start by selecting “Contacts.”
Select “Export” for a CSV file to begin downloading. Repeat this process for “Organizations” and “Vendors.”
Export Products
Go to the Products section and select “Export.” The "Products" table includes linear products, plate products, and components all in one table, so you don’t need to export these separately.
However, configurations and price lists are not included in this table, so manually export these as well using the same process.
Export Quotes
Navigate to your Quotes dashboard. Highlight all the quotes you wish to export. Click the ellipses to access the drop-down menu and select the export option. The download will be a zipped file containing each highlighted quote.
